“ALL ROADS LEAD TO HOPE”

Parade Application

It’s horses and horse-power. It’s marching bands and cheering fans. It’s grand floats and motorboats. (Okay, so there aren’t really any motorboats.) It’s still one of the largest and most famous parades around. There’s only one valid reason not to join thousands of other spectators sitting street-side watching it, and that reason is… YOU’RE IN IT!

Register for the 55TH Annual Hope Heritage Days Parade. Entrants are encouraged to utilize this year’s theme: “ALL ROADS LEAD TO HOPE”.

Trophies will be awarded over a wide range of categories. The post-parade awards ceremony takes place at the bandstand.

Please register for the 2023 Hope Heritage Days Parade below. There is no fee, however, donations are appreciated.

Rules and Information

for this year’s parade

  • Please line up in numerical order per instructions of the Staging Area Chairman.
  • You can leave the staging area after checking in, but your entry must stay in line, and please return promptly before you staging area deadline.
  • No items such as candy or political items can be thrown into the viewing crowd. Items may be handed out. This is per our insurance carrier.
  • The judges review stand is located on the North side of the town square.
  • Again this year, we will have police on bicycles covering the parade. If you have any problems, please let them know.
  • Parade winners will be announced and trophies will be presented at the bandstand in the town square at 5:00 p.m.
  • No sirens are allowed along the parade route, except in case of emergency.
  • We allow the political candidates and supporters to walk the parade route and meet the public.
  • No vehicles with “open headers” will be allowed to participate without prior authorization from the parade committee.
  • No one under the age of 18 is allowed to operate or be in control of a motorized entry per our insurance company.
